PROPÓSITO GENERAL:

El Asociado minorista es responsable de garantizar que nuestros Clientes tengan una experiencia de compra positiva. El Asociado hace contacto visual, sonríe y saluda a todos los Clientes de manera cortés y amigable, trata a sus compañeros Asociados con respeto, sigue eficientemente todos los estándares de mejores prácticas de la compañía como se describe en todos los centros de trabajo, mantiene un área de trabajo limpia en todo momento y garantiza una presentación adecuada de la mercancía. Se espera que el Asociado minorista participe en estas tareas según lo asignado durante todas las horas de trabajo y se espera que realice una variedad de funciones en todas las áreas de la Tienda según lo requieran las necesidades comerciales. Es posible que se le solicite al Asociado que realice tareas adicionales en situaciones específicas, si la ejecución de estas tareas ayudará a lograr nuestros objetivos operativos y de servicio de atención al cliente.

FUNCIONES ESENCIALES:

  • Comprende que la seguridad es la prioridad número uno y practica comportamientos seguros en todo lo que hace.
  • Mantiene un alto nivel de conciencia en el piso de ventas para crear un entorno de compras seguro para todos. Mantiene la salida libre de obstáculos y despejada hacia las salidas de emergencia. Corrige o informa inmediatamente cualquier condición o práctica insegura al liderazgo de la Tienda.
  • Trata a todos los Clientes y Asociados con respeto y cortesía; es amable y profesional en todo momento. Reconoce a los compañeros Asociados mediante el uso de programas de reconocimiento de la Compañía.
  • Ayuda a los Clientes de cualquier manera necesaria: tiene capacitación en la caja registradora, ayuda a los Clientes con la mercancía y responde a las preguntas de los Clientes de manera educada e informada. Saluda a todos los Clientes mediante el contacto visual, les sonríe y les dice "hola" en toda la Tienda, así como también les dice "gracias" en cada transacción de la caja registradora.
  • Proporciona respuestas rápidas y eficientes a los Clientes en todo momento. Responde a las llamadas del servicio de atención al cliente de inmediato. Maneja todos los problemas del Cliente de manera cortés y útil, y llama a un miembro del liderazgo de la Tienda cuando sea necesario.
  • Representa y apoya la marca de la Compañía en todo momento.
  • Realiza tareas de limpieza como barrer, trapear, limpiar, limpiar mostradores y espejos, reponer suministros para baños y desinfectar áreas de alto contacto, incluidos el área de atención al cliente, el piso de ventas y los baños para ayudar a mantener la mercancía, las áreas de clientes y de equipos.
  • Mantiene una apariencia profesional y cumple con el código de vestimenta de la Compañía en todo momento.
  • Realiza tareas de limpieza, como barrer, trapear, quitar el polvo, limpiar mostradores y espejos, y reabastecer suministros de baños para ayudar a mantener las áreas de mercancía, clientes y equipos.
  • Realiza el dimensionamiento y la recuperación asignados diariamente según las mejores prácticas de la compañía para garantizar una tienda ordenada, limpia y organizada que esté bien mantenida y comercializada de manera eficiente según los estándares.
  • Acelera los recibos de mercancía recibidos recientemente al piso de ventas con un sentido de urgencia, comercializa todos los artículos según las mejores prácticas de la compañía según las pautas de presentación mensual y mantiene la familiaridad de la mercancía/marca dentro de los departamentos para ayudar a los clientes.
  • Comprende el programa de concientización sobre la prevención de pérdidas, la ruta de faltantes, el puesto de especialista en protección de tiendas (Store Protection Specialist, SPS) (cuando corresponda) y los estándares de protección de mercancía.
  • Como representante de Ross Inc., demuestra integridad y honestidad en todas las interacciones con Asociados y Clientes. Protege la información confidencial, la información de efectivo y tarjetas de crédito, y la mercancía.
  • Sigue todas las políticas de marcado fuera de inventario (Mark-Out-of-Stock, MOS), incluida la identificación de mercancía de MOS, el procesamiento adecuado de cada pieza y la notificación al liderazgo de la Tienda para revisar y aprobar todas las eliminaciones.
  • Sigue todas las políticas y los procedimientos relacionados con transacciones de efectivo, cheques, tarjetas de pago y reembolsos, anulaciones y procedimientos fuera de línea. Mantiene un alto nivel de conciencia y precisión al manejar licitaciones bancarias.
  • Demuestra un sentido de urgencia para desempeñar su función de manera eficiente. Maximiza la productividad al ejecutar todas las mejores prácticas de la Tienda y minimizar los pasos y toques en su flujo de trabajo.

CALIFICACIONES Y HABILIDADES ESPECIALES REQUERIDAS:

  • Debe comunicarse eficazmente con los Clientes, los Asociados y el liderazgo de la Tienda de manera amigable, respetuosa, cooperativa y agradable.
  • Debe poder realizar cálculos matemáticos básicos comúnmente utilizados en entornos minoristas.

REQUISITOS FÍSICOS/Ley para Estadounidenses con Discapacidades:

  • Debe poder usar todos los equipos de la Tienda, incluidos los PDT, las cajas registradoras y la computadora, según sea necesario.
  • Debe poder pasar hasta el 100 % del tiempo de trabajo de pie, caminando y moviéndose por la Tienda.
  • Debe poder agacharse regularmente hasta la cintura, ponerse en cuclillas, arrodillarse, trepar, transportar, alcanzar y agacharse.
  • Debe poder empujar, jalar y levantar ocasionalmente más de 25 libras.
  • Debe poder usar equipos de limpieza, estanterías rodantes, escaleras y otros suministros asignados.
  • Ciertas asignaciones pueden requerir otras calificaciones y habilidades.
  • Asociados que trabajan en turnos de bodega: deben poder para empujar, jalar y levantar regularmente más de 20 libras.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, efficiently follows all company best practice standards as outlined in all work centers, maintains a clean work area at all times, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. The Retail Associate is expected to be engaged in these tasks as assigned during all working hours and will be expected to perform a range of functions in all areas of the Store as business needs require. The Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks in specific situations, if performance of these tasks will help achieve our Customer service and operational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
  • Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone. Maintains clutter free, clear egress to emergency exits. Immediately corrects or reports any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
  • Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; is friendly and professional at all times. Recognizes fellow Associates using Company recognition programs.
  • Assists Customers in any way necessary - is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers Customer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner. Greets all Customers by making eye contact, smiling and saying "hello" throughout the Store as well as saying "thank you" with every register transaction.
  • Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers at all times. Responds to Customer Service calls immediately. Handles all Customer issues in a courteous and helpful way, calling a member of the Store Leadership when needed.
  • Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
  • Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, replenishing restroom supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas including the front-end, sales floor and restrooms to help maintain merchandise, customer and Team areas.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the Company's dress code at all times.
  • Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, and replenishing restroom supplies to help maintain merchandise, customer and Team areas.
  • Performs daily assigned sizing and recovery per company best practice to ensure a neat, clean and organized store that is well-maintained and efficiently merchandised to standards.
  • Expedites newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency, merchandising all items per company best practice to the monthly presentation guidelines and maintaining merchandise/brand name familiarity within departments to assist Customers.
  • Understands the Loss Prevention Awareness program, the Shortage Highway, the Store Protection Specialist (SPS) position (where applicable), and merchandise protection standards.
  • As a representative of Ross Inc., demonstrates integrity and honesty in all interactions with Associates and Customers. Safeguards confidential information, cash and credit card information, and merchandise.
  • Follows all Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies, including the identification of MOS merchandise, proper processing of each piece and the notification of Store Leadership to review and approve all disposals.
  • Follows all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card and refund transactions, voids and offline procedures. Maintains a high level of awareness and accuracy when handling bankable tenders.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency to efficiently perform their role. Maximizes productivity by executing all Store best practices and minimizing steps and touches in their work flow.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

  • Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PC as required.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the Store.
  • Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
  • Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies.
  • Certain assignments may require other qualifications and skills.
  • Associates who work Stockroom shifts: Ability to regularly push, pull and lift more than 20 pounds.
