Accounting Assistant in North Easton, MA HW Staffing’s client seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our North Easton, MA team. This role will provide essential support to our accounting department and contribute to the efficient and accurate management of our financial records. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including data entry, invoice verification, and payment processing.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Handle vendor and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of financial documentation for audits.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Assist with other accounting-related projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) is a plus.
