• End Date: Ongoing weekly coverage through late August
• Schedule: Monday Friday, with select weekends
• Shift: 8-hour shifts, flexible shifts available
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours
• Employment Type: Locum/Contract
• License/Certs: Active Virginia medical license preferred; DEA, BLS required
• Experience: 2+ years in Hematology/Oncology
• Pay Rate: $19,500 per week (equivalent to approximately $2,440/day)

What You ll Do:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Hematology-Oncology care
• Oversee Nurse Practitioners and support staff
• Enroll patients in clinical research studies
• Manage a patient load of 12-15 patients daily
• Offer call coverage on a rotating basis
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, CNMs, and FPOBs
• Document care efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives

What You Need:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• VA medical license or in process
• DEA, BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
