PST Specialist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its San Antonio, Texas location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient care. This full-time Monday-Friday position involves venipuncture, data entry, billing, and customer service in a clinical laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years old
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program (preferred)
- One or more years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation; able to travel to additional sites
