About the Department Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) is responsible for major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. FFEx works with multiple sites and cultures worldwide. Essential Functions Participate in plant shutdown planning & execution Perform corrective & preventative maintenance on assigned process in a timely manner Manage individual training plan Document all maintenance activities in SAP & communicate them in shift turnover reports Operate, monitor & control equipment, systems & processes as assigned Partner with process owners to actively improve performance & reliability of process equipment Perform routine cleaning and maintain good housekeeping for assigned areas Support development & establishment of maintenance procedures, maintenance plans & spare parts lists for assigned processes Learn new systems for future growth & development Work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts, and/or weekends Follow all safety and environmental requirements Perform other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Moves equipment & supplies weighing up to 33 pounds; operates & inspects manufacturing equipment; works on feet up to a 12‑hour shift; requires corrected vision 20/25 and color vision; may need to ascend/descend ladders; work at elevated heights; work around odorous/hazardous materials; wear gloves; work in cold environments and loud noise with protection; weather conditions may apply; must pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks; no valid driver’s license required. Qualifications Associate's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university required Minimum one year of experience and knowledge in mechanical, electrical and/or control systems May consider a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of three years of experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and/or control systems Experience with automated records systems such as SAP/CMMS preferred Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams & other technical documents preferred Computer literacy preferred Experience in planning/organizing work, checking results & revising the work plan in accordance with the daily work plan a plus Demonstrate systematic approach to problem solving & troubleshooting; document problems & work to bring them to solution Technician : Experience with electronic batch records, automated process equipment, and/or BMS and FMS systems preferred Proficient in operation and design of production utility systems such as purified water, process air, chemical storage, process waste systems, chilled water, clean and dirty steam, high‑pressure air, vacuum, air handling equipment preferred Knowledgeable of compressed air, plant steam, vacuum, chilled water, RO/pretreatment water systems required Mechanical : Knowledgeable of WFI water systems, clean steam systems preferred Electrical : Experience with 120v‑480v electrical systems required Knowledgeable of VFDs, control systems preferred

HVAC/R :
