- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in areas such as prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and more.
- Utilize software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be over the age of 18.
- Obtain CPR/BLS certification
- Successfully complete a course on the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Healthcare Setting
- Pass the Ethics and Jurisprudence Exam
- Successfully complete an approved radiation health & safety training course
