Registered Client Service Associate

Job Summary Raymond James is seeking a dynamic Registered Client Service Associate who is a motivated, detail oriented and creative problem solver to join our growing team. This role provides high quality/high‑touch critical administrative support to Financial Advisors, prospective and existing clients and other branch staff. Responsibilities Serve as first point of contact for a high volume of daily interactions, including basic inquiries, quotes, and scheduling of meetings with prospective and existing clients via phone, in‑person, virtually, and mailings. Work independently and as part of a team to support financial advisors and the branch office. Onboard new clients, open new client accounts and research client and security information using internal databases and other technologies. Ensure key client information and documentation are current with firm and industry requirements. Process and monitor the transfer of assets, ensuring all assets and cost basis are accurately received. Monitor available cash awaiting investment, run weekly cash and cash‑equivalent reports, and contact clients with investment opportunities. Review, assess and respond to all corporate action items and client account alerts. Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets and other materials for client meetings. Input orders and rebalance portfolios on behalf of the Financial Advisors. Create and maintain records and files using Client Relationship Management (CRM) software. Assist financial advisors with marketing efforts, including seminars and other client‑facing events. Engage in training, cross‑training and professional development opportunities to remain current on firm and industry policies and procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills Knowledge of the company's structure, policies, mission and strategies. Experience with managed account platforms and general office practices, procedures and methods. Understanding of investment concepts, securities industry practices and regulations. Familiarity with financial markets, products and industry regulations. Knowledge of trading terminology. Proficiency with Client Relationship Management (CRM) or similar contact management software. Experience with goal‑planning software. Advanced Excel skills, including developing spreadsheets and reporting. Effective communication across multiple client interactive platforms (in‑person, virtual, phone and mail). Proficient in operating standard office equipment and required software applications. Ability to analyze and research account information. Strong organizational, multitasking and priority‑setting skills in a fast‑paced environment. Problem‑solving skills and the ability to resolve errors, questions or concerns promptly. Ability to handle stressful situations and provide a high level of customer service in a calm, professional manner. Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication with all organizational levels. Education / Experience High School Diploma or equivalent, with one (1) or more years of securities industry or related work experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources. Licenses / Certifications Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required. Series 7 exam required. Series 63, 65 and/or 66 as required by state. Travel / Workstyle Travel: Less than 25%.
