Description

The Accountant and Financial Analyst will support general accounting functions for Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. and other Pioneer subsidiaries. Day-to-day responsibilities include:Post, manage, track, and record daily cash activityProcess daily cash disbursements and receiptsPost daily journal entriesManage and track intercompany loansInvest excess cash in time depositsPerform daily cash application and postingMaintain a detailed cash-flow activity workbookExecute intercompany billing and accountingManage monthly sales-incentive accounting and accrualsComplete assigned month-end close proceduresRecord warehouse, healthcare, rent, flooring, and other accrualsSupport 401(k) and pension-plan administration, including annual auditsAdminister insurance-related processes with Marsh Insurance consultants and the PUSA VP TreasurerMonitor and process monthly insurance billingsCoordinate financial reporting and accounting activity with management, subsidiaries, sales staff, and affiliated companies9. Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationThree to six years of financial analysis and reporting experience involving planning and operational analysisDemonstrated ability to manage multiple accounting disciplinesStrong accounting, analytical, and reporting skillsBroad business perspectiveStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation skillsComputer applications aptitudeAbility to manage and balance multiple prioritiesAbility to coordinate with different levels of managementDetail-oriented and self-directed working styleStrong problem-solving, mathematical, interpersonal, and time-management skillsAbility to make recommendations and prioritize work effectiv

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
