TENTAMUS NORTH AMERICA IS ON THE PROWL FOR A LABORATORY MEDIA TECHNICIAN WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT PRECISION, DEDICATED TO EXCELLENCE, AND EAGER TO MAKE AN IMPACT TO JOIN OUR NOVA BIOLOGICALS TEAM IN CONROE, TEXAS! HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR TEAMUnder the direction of the Lab Supervisor, the Media Technician cultures media preparation for laboratory functions in the lab's daily operation and maintenance. The duties will include but are not limited to: Media preparation and sterilization while following aseptic techniquesKeep Media stocked, rotated, and properly labeled to ensure and maintain media integrity.Maintain and record data while following protocols in relation to regulatory standards such as GMP/NELAP/TNI and ISO 17025. Prepare reports and summarize data using Excel, instrument software and LIMS while following GDPAutoclave and dispose of laboratory biohazardous trash produced, and cleaning and sterilizing glassware and supplies. Execute projects and any additional duties as assigned to meet changing laboratory needs and requirements.Perform general maintenance to ensure upkeep of laboratory. POSITION & SCHEDULEThis is a Full-Time M-F, 8:00AM –5:00PM, Onsite position at Nova Biologicals in Conroe, TX. Occasional Weekends and OT Eligible. TO THRIVE AS THE MEDIA TECHNICIANThe ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship; a BS in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or related science field, and possess good working knowledge of laboratory terminology. Other items include:Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably an analytical setting.Ability to work both independently and within a team and possess strong interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication skillsStrong familiarity with Aseptic technique preferredKnowledge of LIMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?$13 hourly pay, comprehensive and low-cost benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, HSA, Ample PTO, and a matching 401k.
