Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Therapy/Dietary - Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
- Collaborate with care teams to create individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient recovery.
- Document patient progress and therapy outcomes in the Cerner EMR system.
- Adapt treatment strategies to accommodate for different patient needs and environments.
- Maintain strong communication with unit managers and team to ensure optimal scheduling for patient coverage.
- Ensure professional standard compliance by obtaining two supplemental references at the time of submission.
Qualifications
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California.
- BLS Certification required.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system is desirable.
- Capability to work flexible shifts, including 8-hour days, Wednesday through Saturday.
- Ability to commit to working 2 out of 3 major holidays, if required.
