Physician – Hartford, CT We are looking for a motivated physician to join our well-established medical group, full time in the Glastonbury area, CT near Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate is residency trained in PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation), currently in a primary care sports medicine fellowship, and has strong exposure to fluoroscopic guided spine procedures. They should be interested in outpatient non-surgical orthopedics, sports medicine, and regenerative medicine. We also welcome physicians who have completed a Family Practice Residency or a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management. Our practice is both a privately owned, insurance-based medical practice specializing in sports medicine, non-surgical orthopedics, and the treatment of acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal pain, and a separate, privately-owned, cash-based medical practice specializing in regenerative medicine and orthopedic biologics. The candidate will see patients under both practices. Primary Job Responsibilities Pain Management patient care Evaluate and treat patients, including performing all requisite medical histories and physical exams Order and interpret diagnostic tests/studies Perform diagnostic and therapeutic injections including corticosteroid injections, nerve blocks, hydro dissection procedures, trigger point injections, Ten Jet procedures (percutaneous tenotomy) Perform phlebotomy when required Perform fluoroscopic spine procedures (e.g., transforaminal and interlaminar ESI’s, selective nerve root blocks, medial branch blocks, caudal epidurals, and ganglion impar blocks) Perform regenerative medicine procedures Assist the ancillary clinical support staff as needed Precept Family Practice residents and medical students who rotate through the office Supervise mid‑level providers such as PAs Any other duties as assigned or requested by the Medical Director Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, medical professionals, and administrative staff for comprehensive patient care Qualifications MD or DO Residency trained in PM&R (or possibly Family Practice Residency) with strong exposure to fluoroscopic guided spine procedures PM&R preferred Active CT medical license Currently enrolled in a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship or Interventional Pain Management fellowship Interest in an outpatient non-surgical orthopedics, sports medicine, or regenerative medicine practice Schedule M-F 9-5 No nights, weekends, or hospital work Compensation $300,000 + benefits Benefits Bonus compensation: Incentive/performance bonus commences after the 1st year of employment Vacation/Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Pension plan (combination of 401k + profit sharing) Generous CME allowance Paid holidays Ultrasound training course during the first year of employment (approximate value, $15,000) #J-18808-Ljbffr
