Couple Care Caregiver Needed in Waterford , MI

Schedule
Monday–Sunday
Morning Shift: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to support a wonderful couple in their Waterford home. This is an opportunity to become an important part of their daily lives by providing personalized one-on-one care, companionship, and encouragement that helps them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home.
This is an ideal assignment for a caregiver who values consistency, enjoys getting to know their clients, and takes pride in making a meaningful difference every day.
Couples care assignments may pay up to $22.50 per hour.
Couples Care Includes

• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Personal care assistance
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation and encouragement with proper nutrition
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Mobility assistance and fall prevention
• Encouraging independence while providing a safe and supportive environment
• One client benefits from gentle dementia cueing, reassurance, and redirection.
• Assistance with a female PureWick urinary collection system ( training provided )
• Caring for the family's friendly dog

• Competitive pay: $14.00–$17.00 per hour
• Couples care assignments can pay up to $22.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Provide dementia support using patience, reassurance, and gentle redirection when appropriate
• Assist with safe transfers using proper techniques (training provided)
• Assist with a female PureWick urinary collection system ( training provided )
• Feed the family's friendly dog
• Transport clients to appointments and errands when assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and current vehicle registration
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform the physical duties of caregiving
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one during the hiring process
