Elementary Teacher

Salaried position : $37,554 - $60,342

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
  Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with educational standards, teaching subjects including but not exhaustive of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. (Primary Duties of this position will be teaching Elementary ELA and Social Studies)
• Instructional Strategies:
  Use various teaching methods to engage students, including lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
• Classroom Management:
  Establish and maintain a positive and productive learning environment, setting clear expectations for behavior and managing student conduct.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
  Monitor student progress through various assessments, provide feedback, and communicate with parents about their child's academic and social-emotional development.
• Student Support:
  Offer individualized support to students who need extra help, addressing academic or behavioral challenges.
• Collaboration:
  Work with other teachers, specialists, and school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Professional Development:
  Stay updated on current educational research, best practices, and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Parent Communication:
  Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies for student success.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field .
• State teaching certification .
• Strong knowledge of elementary school curriculum and teaching methodologies and pedagogy .
