Process Improvement Analyst

Job Title Process Improvement Analyst Department James | Operations Improvement Scope of Position Located in the Ackerman Building, 660 Ackerman Road. Projects involve travel throughout the James and Ohio State University Medical Complex. Primary working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though team facilitation may occur outside these hours (e.g., early‑morning or night shifts). Supervisory responsibilities include overseeing up to three Fisher Student Interns. Position Summary Provide operational assessments, efficiency studies, and workflow observations to ensure the most effective utilization of resources. Evaluate the impact of new technology, office layouts, and construction projects on operations. Offer technical support and advice to continuous‑improvement initiatives and educational services. Facilitate process‑improvement teams to achieve improved operational performance. Support the development and maintenance of tools and processes used in process improvement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, process improvement, business operations management, or a related field. Preferably at least two years of experience in continuous improvement. Health‑care industry experience preferred but not required. Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, graphics software, and computer tools. Green Belt certification preferred.
