Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.Reports to: Director or Manager of Emergency DepartmentEssential Functions:Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care activities.Documents patient care providedMonitors, records and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family.Performs other duties as assigned.A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsFundamental to providing outstanding care is supporting and rewarding our team.
