Accounting Manager 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1411 Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually Accounting Manager Beck's is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our accounting team at our home office. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys applying their expertise, improving financial processes, and partnering with operational leaders to support a growing business. Working closely with the CFO and leaders across the organization, you'll play a key role in financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting month-end close, and helping ensure the accuracy of our financial operations across our convenience stores and car washes. Competitive salary, based on experience 100% Employee-Owned through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) with company match Monthly cell phone allowance Paid time off and holiday pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company paid life and disability insurance Professional development and growth opportunities Collaborative, team-oriented work environment Key Responsibilities Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations Support the month-end close process and financial reporting Maintain accurate accounting records and strong internal controls Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Operational Accounting Process and reconcile daily fuel accounting and invoicing Maintain accounts receivable records and monitor outstanding balances Process customer payments accurately and in a timely manner Manage the company's fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation Administer the company fleet card program, including transaction review and issue resolution Leadership & Cross-Functional Support Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the admin accounting team Support store managers with daily paperwork, cash reconciliation questions, and operational accounting needs Partner with the CFO, accounting team, and operational leaders to improve processes and support company performance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred Minimum of five years of professional accounting experience Strong technical accounting knowledge, including general ledger accounting, GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, internal controls, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience in retail, convenience store, fuel, or multi-location accounting is a plus If you're looking for a long-term opportunity where you can apply your technical accounting expertise and grow with a 100% employee-owned company, we'd love to hear from you.
