Dental Assistant

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and skilled Dental Assistant/RDA or Orthodontic Assistant to join our vibrant orthodontic team in Palo Alto. This role is essential in supporting clinical procedures, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering a welcoming experience for every patient. The ideal candidate combines strong technical abilities with a warm, patient-centered approach. Key Responsibilities Assist the doctor during orthodontic procedures, preparing all necessary instruments and materials Take diagnostic images, including Planmeca X-rays and iTero scans , to support treatment planning Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation Use OrthoTops software Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sterile environment Provide post-care instructions and oral hygiene guidance to patients and families Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and office efficiency Qualifications Prior dental or orthodontic assisting experience preferred but not required, we will train the right candidate Familiarity with Planmeca X-ray systems and iTero scanning is a plus Knowledge of general dental procedures and medical terminology Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team setting Join our supportive and enthusiastic team and help us continue providing exceptional orthodontic care to the community.
