Lead DevSecOps Engineer

Salary: $135,000 - 186,000 per year Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship.
• At least 8 years of DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience, including ownership of a CI/CD pipeline as a delivery-risk control surface.
• Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline, platform, practice, or program from the ground up, ideally in a startup or similarly fast-paced, low-structure environment.
• Expert knowledge of GitHub Actions, GitLab pipelines, and CI/CD architecture, with hands-on integration of SAST, DAST, and SCA security scanning.
• Deep proficiency with containers such as Docker or Podman, artifact management using Nexus or an equivalent, and RPM packaging for Linux distributions.
• Strong VMware/ESXi administration skills, including GPU resource management and configuration.
• Advanced Linux administration experience with RHEL or Rocky, networking, firewall management, and out-of-band systems such as IPMI/iDRAC.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI/ML inference workload management.
• Experience designing software delivery for offline, disconnected, or restricted-network deployments.
• Self-directed approach, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to set priorities and act quickly without a predefined playbook.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience is also considered.
• Preferred: Delivery or SRE experience at a SaaS or product software company, with a strong approach to pipeline risk mitigation.
• Preferred: Experience applying DISA STIG or NIST compliance frameworks.
• Preferred: Understanding of SBOM and software supply-chain security practices, including tools such as Trivy.
• Preferred: Experience integrating and managing policies for Invicti or a similar DAST platform.
• Preferred: Experience with image assembly and OS build tools such as osbuild, osbuild-composer, or lorax.
• Preferred: Experience with infrastructure-as-code platforms such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Preferred: Experience with multi-GPU systems, GPU clustering, or large-scale inference optimization.
• Preferred: Government contracting or defense sector experience.

• Design and own our end-to-end CI/CD pipeline, embedding SAST, DAST, SCA, and SBOM gates and enforcing release policies.
• Manage our Nexus artifact repositories as a trusted source of truth and examine pipeline stages for potential compromise or failure.
• Own packaging, signing, and validation for deployments into customers offline or air-gapped networks, including distribution integrity, system integration, and certification.
• Build and operate GPU and hardware lab infrastructure for AI/ML testing, provisioning, workload optimization, and capacity planning.
• Advance our use of infrastructure-as-code, reproducible builds, and operationally mature practices.
• Partner with engineering on our infrastructure roadmap and establish reliability, security, and compliance standards.
