About the Position

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit with a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Apply neurology nursing knowledge to assess and manage patients with neurological conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Prior telemetry nursing experience required
• Neurology nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity telemetry or step-down unit
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
