Job Description

As a Security Officer Retail Vehicle Patrol in Calabasas, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe daily activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site expectations and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
