As a Armed Security Officer - Clinic Buildings in North Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence as assigned.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document unusual activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
• Support emergency protocols, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinate with site contacts, first responders, and/or local law enforcement during incidents requiring additional response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license (CCW excluded).
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
