Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Laboratory licensure in appropriate specialty when required by state law.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Client-specific requirements: experience in general laboratory testing, ability to work a mid shift (1200-2400), and willingness to work a 40-hour workweek. Education requirement may accept BS or associate degree per client request.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with routine chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology testing preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1200-2400.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
• Weekend coverage: midshift weekends as scheduled.
• Parking: park in lot in front of building.
