Job DescriptionJob Summary: Mercury Systems is seeking the best and brightest talent to help us bring cutting-edge technology to mission-critical aerospace and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most. We bridge commercial innovation with defense-grade security to ensure our warfighters and allies have the technological advantageLead the execution of logistical operations to include receiving, warehousing, and shipping. Perform a wide variety of tasks such as planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting of product movement in support of the manufacturing workflow.Job Responsibilities:Validating previous transactions for discrepancies and ensures internal specifications are met and traceability requirements are 100% accurateOverseeing receiving functions related to purchased parts and incoming supplies, and shipping of finished and semi-finished partsManaging and monitoring storage of purchased parts and finished goodsHandling raw materials and finished materials in compliance with internal electrostatic discharge policies and proceduresIssuing material to work orders; follows bill of material and work order routingTracking material scrap; act or make recommendations to reduce or eliminateAssuring write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventoryIdentifying opportunities to reduce materials and consumable costs and chargesImplement and maintain inventory management monthly review processUpdating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancementsResearching and reconciling inventory anomaliesProcessing MRP transactions with accuracy and efficiencyExecution and accuracy of daily cycle count and year-end inventoryFollowing all company policies and proceduresRequired Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years' experience in Logistics and 3 years of Logistics supervisionOutstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesSolid understanding of logistics and inventory management softwareExperience with government contracting requirements related to inventory, shipping, and receivingTrade compliance experienceDomestic and international shipping experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skillsThis position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
