As a Retail Supervisor, you play a critical role in the daily operations and overall success of the dispensary. You will lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service while motivating team members to maintain high standards of efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. In addition to demonstrating strong leadership, you will actively assist patients by answering questions, creating a welcoming environment, and ensuring a comfortable, compliant purchasing experience. The Retail Supervisor oversees daily store operations, guides Patient Service Providers (PSPs), supports inventory management, and ensures adherence to all state regulations. This role also serves as the Person in Charge (PIC) during opening and closing procedures. Job Responsibilities Ensure the operations of the dispensary run in a smooth and professional fashion. Responsible for opening and closing of the dispensary (Key Holder). Takes direction from the District Manager and General Manager to execute store operations. Enters data provided by District Manager and General Manager to track KPI markers. Maintains positive relationships with vendors and places supply orders for the facility. Actively help manage inventory, recalls, and pricing to meet costs and sales targets. Contributes to maintaining staff morale and productivity. Coordinates with District Manager and General Manager to organise pop up and marketing events. Processing transactions and becoming a subject matter expert on all functions of the PSP role. Prepare daily deposits for weekly cash pickup. Intakes product delivery orders and audits the order physically. Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints. Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their ailments. Verify patient's allotment and ensure they are eligible to make purchases using the state system. Willingness to take on additional duties as needed and do so with a positive attitude. Education & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a dispensary required. Must be able to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Experience frequently interacting with customers, fulfilling customer requests and addressing customer issues, questions, or suggestions. Ability to handle a busy atmosphere. Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it. Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media. Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to others in the department. At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US. Proper employment documentation; reliable transportation and valid driving license. Physical Requirements Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above. Throughout extended periods must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.
