Inventory Planner

The Planner manages and optimizes inventory levels to meet sales demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence. The role supports the Wholesale and Amazon P1 (Vendor Central) businesses, covering seasonal assortment planning, demand forecasting, replenishment, and order execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels across Wholesale and Amazon Vendor Central to align with sales targets and service level goals.
• Monitor sell-through, weeks-of-supply, and inventory turn; proactively resolve imbalances.
• Maintain optimal safety stock and reorder points by channel and category.
• Identify excess and obsolescence; partner with sales and merchandising on clearance actions.

Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Build and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts using sales history, trend analysis, and market inputs.
• Integrate promotional calendars and seasonal plans into forecasts with cross-functional partners.
• Refine forecast accuracy through ongoing variance analysis.

Seasonal Assortment & Replenishment

• Provide inventory positioning and open-to-buy analysis to support seasonal buys.
• Execute replenishment orders to maintain in-stock targets across all channels.
• Partner with Wholesale and Marketplace teams on order windows, lead times, and replenishment cadences.

Order Execution

• Manage purchase orders from issuance through receipt, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Logistics to resolve discrepancies and prioritize inbound inventory.
• Maintain accurate item-level data in planning systems and ERP platforms.

Reporting & Analytics

• Build and distribute weekly inventory health reports and KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support decisions across channels, categories, and seasons.
• Use advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, macros) to manage large, complex data sets.

Qualifications

Required

• 3-5 years in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain - preferably in fashion or apparel.
• Advanced Excel proficiency: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, macros.
• Experience managing high SKU counts across multiple categories and channels.
• Strong grasp of inventory metrics: weeks-of-supply, sell-through, turn, OTB.
• Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or equivalent wholesale e-commerce platforms.

Preferred

• ERP or planning system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Anaplan, or similar).
• Familiarity with open-to-buy and seasonal merchandise planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
