- Two years of post-secondary technical education or course work in Sciences preferred
- At least two years of experience as materials Q.C. Laboratory Technician preferred
- Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Google applications
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs over uneven ground
- Perform quality control tests on materials using ASTM and AASHTO standards
- Carries out ongoing lab and field sampling
- Conducts in depth problem-solving and detailed data analyses
- Assist with the documentation of material control plans
- Carries out regular updates to Quality Control and Quality Assurance databases
