Description - What You'll Do

• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for a variety of tests as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, share knowledge with new staff or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a tidy and safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Ensure continuous certification throughout your employment term.
