Details PICU setting within a Level I trauma facility 1:2 patient ratios Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Every weekend requirement Float required between ICUs at two campuses, including NICU (Level IV), TICU, PICU, and CICU May float to general care areas if no ICU need exists Uses Servo ventilators across all ICUs RRTs utilized in each ICU Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration BLS and PALS (AHA only) certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience required Level I trauma facility experience required Experience with typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors required BSN preferred but not required Epic EMR experience preferred Additional Information Must be available to work either the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation based on staffing needs Cannot request both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays off Nicotine-free campus with cotinine/nicotine testing required Facility administers a medication pass/fail test, with a second attempt allowed if needed First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-749220.
