Shipping & Warehouse Clerk

Location: American Canyon, CA
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Empire Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Warehouse Clerk to support daily shipping and customer service operations in a busy warehouse environment.

• Match and ship Bills of Lading.
• Enter orders into the trucker menu for suppliers and customers.
• Sign truck drivers in and out at the front counter.
• Respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle frequent telephone communication with customers and carriers.
• Provide support with daily shipping and warehouse activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized records.

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable handling frequent interruptions.
• Ability to stand at the front counter for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable frequently getting up and down from a desk.
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, professional, and able to stay focused while managing multiple tasks and frequent interruptions in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
