Health Care Technician

BMNTC is a specialized long-term residential care facility that provides high quality, respectful, compassionate care to individuals with developmental disorders and specialized dementia. As a Health Care Technician the candidate has the rewarding opportunity to enhance the quality of life and maintain the dignity of the residents. Part of caring for residents is taking them for walks or rides. Teaching them recreational skills, and supporting them with completing their Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). To qualify for this position, the candidate must be listed as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Obtaining and recording vital signs.
• Training and assisting residents with ADL's.
• Providing ongoing observation, interaction and feedback to residents.
• Reporting concerns and recommendations to your supervisor and other appropriate staff.
