Gastroenterologist | Full-Time \n
Location: Bluffton, South Carolina
\nA well-established, nonprofit healthcare organization in the Bluffton, South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its growing digestive health program. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities , allowing physicians to build a comprehensive GI practice while performing endoscopic procedures in a collaborative, physician-focused environment.
Position Overview \n• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal disorders
\n• Maintain a balanced schedule consisting of inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic care
\n• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy
\n• Diagnose and manage diseases affecting the digestive tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system
\n• Collaborate closely with primary care physicians, hospitalists, surgeons, oncologists, and specialty providers
\n• Utilize an integrated EMR system for timely and accurate clinical documentation
\n• Participate in shared call coverage within a supportive Gastroenterology team
Qualifications \n• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
\n• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
\n• Active or eligible DEA registration
\n• ERCP and/or EUS experience is welcomed but not required
\n• Excellent procedural, communication, and patient-centered care skills
