Chapel Hill Church located in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is seeking a new Worship Pastor.

About The Church and Position:

Chapel Hill Church is a multi-generational church whose mission is to help people better Love Jesus, Grow Together, and Reach the World. As we have been fulfilling this mission, we have been experiencing steady growth. We are seeking a passionate and creative pastor that can help advance our mission by further developing and growing our worship ministry. The Worship Pastor provides vision and direction for our worship services and helps the church family better live out their mission. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Ministry Description:

• Plan and lead the weekly worship service.
• Give vision, direction, and oversight to the worship and tech team.
• Create a family-like atmosphere with members of the worship and tech team.
• Connect and develop relationships with people at Chapel Hill Church and in the community.
• Based on gifting and passion, lead at least one other church ministry. Possibilities include youth, children, young adults, and outreach.

Worship Pastor Requirements:

• Deeply loves Jesus and people.
• Passionate about worshipping Jesus and seeing others worship Him.
• Ability to effectively lead worship with a guitar or piano.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Ability to run a soundboard and worship planning software such as ProPresenter.
• Experience leading worship services, 1-5 years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in music, theology, or a related field preferred.
• Highly relational.

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, located just north of Akron and about 30 minutes south of Cleveland, is a city known for its natural beauty and family-friendly atmosphere. The downtown, which is right on the river, has dozens of restaurants and stores. The area has a perfect blend of walkable urban neighborhoods and quiet suburban homes. The city is also located next to Cuyahoga Valley National Park which sees close to 3 million visitors a year.
