Description Clients often request in-person therapy and we are finding that offering a hybrid model that offers the potential for in-person with the flexibility available through telehealth seems to be a hit with clients and clinicians alike! Our offices are designed to offer a group practice environment that allows clinicians to provide individual, couples, family, group, and play therapy. To ensure a well-rounded clinical team we staff each Pillars location with clinicians who can provide treatment to couples, groups, families, and individuals of all ages. Position title In-Person Clinician - Merrillville Responsibilities Reporting to your assigned supervisor, mental health clinicians evaluate, assess, diagnose, and treat clients experiencing mental health and psychological distress. Provide evidence-based mental health counseling and psychotherapy to clients. Identify culturally appropriate treatment to meet clients' experiences and individual needs. Conduct group therapy sessions for clients based on specific needs (e.g., anger management, depression, anxiety, relationship issues). Work with clients to set SMART goals and develop individualized treatment plans. Give clients adequate resources to gain insight through a strength-based approach to treatment. Identify and alleviate barriers to treatment and encourage clients in their wellness and recovery journey. Identify social, emotional, and cultural barriers that may inhibit a client's psychological well-being. Refer clients internally to an appropriate provider or externally to other health professionals. Support clients in identifying additional resources in their local or online communities such as social services, job services, and support groups. Qualifications Valid mental health licensure (provisional or independent) LCSW, LSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCAC, LCAC-A, LPCC, Clinical Psychology PsyD/PhD, HSPP, or other. National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. Completed Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) application. Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy ($1M/$3M).
