Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring CRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Job Details

• Acute care setting within the Respiratory Therapy department,
• Uses EPIC EMR,
• 12-hour day shifts from 6a-6p,
• Every other weekend rotation,
• 36 hours per week,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist,
• Active State or Compact (NLC) license required if applicable,
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CRT (NBRC), NRP, PALS,
• Pending licenses or certifications not accepted,
• Driver's license copy required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Must be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are completed remotely,
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment,
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility,
• Candidates previously employed directly (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible; prior PRN employment through outside firms will be considered,
• Requires two professional references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
