**Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff.

**Duties:

• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers, to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Perform order picking tasks using a warehouse management system to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Utilize pallet jacks for moving heavy loads and assist in loading and unloading shipments.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and meet production goals.
• Assist in training new employees on safe forklift operation and warehouse procedures.

**Qualifications:

**

• Proven experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Strong skills in order picking, heavy lifting, and material handling.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to following safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or order picker is a plus.
