Senior Project ManagerLocation: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid)Type: Contract Duration: Long TermKey Accountabilities:Produce monthly reporting for Functions Technology Portfolio Governance Boards.Review monthly Initiative Governance Forum materials.Ensure portfolio is aligned to the Change Delivery Management (CDM) Risk and Policy Standards.Train PMs in governing the Change portfolio, governance standards and delivery processes.Provide effective oversight and management of project delivery processes, reporting and monitoring project progress.Partner with PMs on governance requirements, including the completion of outline business cases, detailed business cases, business readiness plans, outcome closure packs, delivered risk assessments, benefit validation and initiative closure.Respond to project governance inquiries timely.Drive and promote a governance culture throughout the organisation.Be the subject matter expert on projects covered in partnership with PMs.Review and address audit findings.Prepare quarterly self assessment reporting metrics for Chief Control office (CCO) submission.Review and maintain the project quality control report.Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:College degreeAbility to multi-task and work under tight deadlinesProactive decision makerStrong stakeholder management at executive levelPM and PMO skills in technology project management space in a financial services institutionDesirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:Project management, project governance or PMO-specific experienceLeadership, organizational and interpersonal skillsTime management and strong communication skillsExcellent PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
