The team supports manufacturing operations by performing inspections, managing nonconformances, and driving continuous improvement to ensure product reliability and on-time delivery.High-Level Position Summary:Advanced inspector responsible for complex inspections, supporting engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with tight tolerance and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Perform complex inspections on precision components and medical devicesInterpret advanced GD&T (position, profile, datums)Set up and operate advanced equipment:CMM (manual and/or CNC)Advanced Keyence systemsAir gages for tight tolerancesProfilometers for surface analysisLead and review First Article InspectionsPerform root cause analysis on nonconforming partsMentor and support junior inspectorsCollaborate with engineering on inspection methods and fixturesMinimum Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma (technical training preferred)5–8+ years of inspection experienceWorking knowledge of GD&TExperience with CMM operationTravel Requirements:Up to 10% of travel may be required.Desired Characteristics:Experience in medical device or regulated industryFamiliarity with ERP systems (Oracle, Agile)Exposure to CAPA and quality systemsASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
