About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified OR RN in Olney, Maryland, 20832!

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all equipment is sterile and functioning properly
• Act as circulating nurse during surgical procedures, managing patient care and safety
• Collaborate with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
• Maintain accurate patient documentation before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition
• Advocate for the patient’s safety and comfort throughout the perioperative experience

Requirements

• Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years OR Circulating RN experience

  • At least 1 completed travel assignment

• Required Certification: BLS

• Required Skills: Circulating

• On-Call Requirement:

  • Up to 12 hours/week (Mon 7 PM – Fri 7 AM)

  • Plus 12 hours of weekend/holiday call per 6-week schedule

• Floating: May float to units of equal or lower acuity
