Position title: Warehouse Administrative Assistant

Pay: $23/hr. (Possible increase after 90 days)

Location: Sparks, NV 89431 Zip Code

Shift: 730am-430pm (Must be a little flexible, since they are running the warehouse if there is a delay in business they have to make sure to stay in order to lock up)

Position Summary

The Warehouse Administrative Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by coordinating driver check-ins, managing communications, and providing administrative support to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Management Tasks:

• Responsible for opening and closing the warehouse
• Manage inbound and outbound flow
• Monitor production
• Ensure LP tanks are getting refilled
• Ensure Trash containers are being emptied when needed
• Ensure that all safety measures are being followed in the warehouse
• Report issues and have open communication with Director of Operations in Ohio via telephone and email.

Customer Relation Tasks

• Monitor email for inbound schedule
• Monitor email for customer communication
• Communicate with Ohio Location for any issues that may arise

 

Required:

• Seasoned/Career oriented employee
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, transportation, or supply chain management operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
