MedStar Health, Maryland and DC area's largest non-profit health system is pleased to announce our Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant openings in our established cardiology practices located in Baltimore, Maryland. We have a full-time clinical inpatient/outpatient opportunity available at our MedStar Union Memorial Hospital facility offering a collaborative team environment and Monday -Friday flexible schedules.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in cardiology as a clinician, thorough documentation skills, great work ethic and the ability to work autonomously while being connected regularly with non-invasive cardiologists and advanced practice providers. (Interested NPs MUST have acute-care based certification.)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner certificate program required

• Current national certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.

• Two of years' experience as a practitioner; CARDIOLOGY PREFERRED

• Demonstrated effective communication skills.

• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.

• Current Maryland licensure.

• Certified in CPR, ACLS required.
