Reach Truck Operator

Join our team as a Reach Truck Operator where you'll play a crucial role in efficiently managing warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight shipments using reach trucks and safely transport palletized materials throughout the warehouse with the help of an RF Scanner installed in the truck.
• Move skids from higher racking to lower racking for order selectors to pick orders.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating reach trucks or deep reach is required, as safety in the warehouse is the highest priority.
• Proficiency with reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, cherry picker forklifts, and order picking.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and accuracy standards.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others, respond professionally to feedback, and handle difficult situations appropriately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to work in refrigerated temperatures as well as ambient (non-climate controlled) conditions.

Shifts Available

3:00am - 11:30am

• Sometimes overtime until 12:30pm

Work Environment

Work in a 1-million square foot warehouse environment distributing grocery items to local grocery stores. The facility includes room temperature and refrigerated areas. The dry side maintains an ambient temperature and is not climate controlled. The warehouse is very organized and clean, providing a conducive environment for distribution center operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berkeley, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
