Surgical RN Position

Location: Salida, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Four - 10 hour shifts per week, plus call rotation.

Job Description: We are seeking a Surgical RN to join our team in the beautiful Upper Arkansas Valley, known for its rich outdoor recreational opportunities. This area is perfect for activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, and more, making it an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical patients.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assist in post-operative care.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must maintain a current, active license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or a compact state.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• PALS or PEARS certification preferred.
