Senior Software Developer (React & Node.js)Location: Cleveland, Albany, BuffaloExperience: 5–8+ yearsJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in React.js and Node.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will take ownership of complex features, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend)Architect scalable, reusable, and maintainable application componentsBuild and consume RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL)Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalabilityLead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practicesCollaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-endMentor junior and mid-level developersTroubleshoot and debug complex production issuesParticipate in system design discussions and technical decision-makingRequired Skills & Qualifications5+ years of professional software development experienceStrong expertise in React.js, including hooks, state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)Solid experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js / NestJSProficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScriptExperience building RESTful APIs and backend servicesStrong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend toolingExperience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practicesExperience with Git and collaborative development workflowsExperience in logging and monitoring frameworks like Dynatrace, etc.Strong problem-solving and communication skillsGood to HaveExperience with Next.jsKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with microservices architectureExperience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, etc.)Compensation, Benefits and DurationMinimum Compensation: USD 40,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 141,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
