Pharmacist - Denver, CO

Join a dynamic inpatient pharmacy team in Denver, CO, providing comprehensive medication management and clinical support across multiple locations. This 13-week contract opportunity involves floating between two facilities, offering a versatile work environment and the chance to collaborate closely with healthcare professionals.


Schedule and Hours:

• Day shifts
• 36 to 40 hours per week
• 10-hour shifts on weekdays
• 6-hour shifts on weekends
• Floating approximately 3 days per week at one facility and 1-2 days at another, with schedule adjustments based on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license
• Minimum of 3 years' experience, including hospital pharmacy practice
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a floating schedule and varying workplace environments
