Project Engineer
We are seeking a Project Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. This position will be based in San Diego, and will require some travel.
Requirements:
• US citizen or Permanent Resident. • BS in Civil/Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or related field from an accredited university. MS is a plus. • California PE is a plus. • 40 hour HAZWOPER. • Experience performing environmental investigation, remediation system design (Pump and Treat, SVE, In Situ Remediation), operations and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems. Experience with DoD projects is a plus. • Proficient with MS Office. Familiarity with GIS, GINT, MS Access, CAD and groundwater modeling is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design of remediation systems (in-situ bioremediation, Pump and Treat, SVE, etc.) including preparation of design drawings and technical specifications. • Construction management (requires field work). • Preparation of work plans and reports. • Management of O&M projects. • Mentoring of junior staff. • Assist with proposals, business development, and cost estimates.
