Provide a high level of customer service. Assist customers & sales staff including suggestions, orders and register transactions. Familiar and able to enter orders when necessary. Maintain fresh cooler on sales floor and out-of-cooler display on a daily basis. Quality control daily checks both a.m. and p.m. Ensure timely processing of incoming product. Responsible for floral cut product and supply ordering to meet sales goals and control markdowns: (delegate duties of ordering when on vacation, or a day off). Including bunches, arrangements and bulk stems. Perform other duties as necessitated by increased sales, promotions, restructuring of departments positions or assigned by the Supervisor. Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of all aspects of floral design. Ability to fill any customer request for floral design work. Must be able to assist customers with ideas for custom arrangements. A one-year vocational certificate in Floral Design, plus two years of design experience. Demonstrate exceptional design ability and customer service skills.
