Accounting Assistant Monday - Friday, 8A - 4:30 PM (Saturday mornings during tax season) Pay depends on experience. Excellent opportunity to join an established firm that truly values its employees. Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support a variety of accounting functions. This is a stable, supportive workplace known for long employee tenure. Responsibilities Assisting CPAs and Accountants with daily accounting and administrative tasks Processing tax returns and preparing financial statements Entering trial balances and assisting with consolidations Performing data entry with a high degree of accuracy Completing bank reconciliations Handling A/R and billing functions Answering phones and providing professional, courteous assistance as needed Maintaining organized electronic and paper files Learning and utilizing firm software and systems efficiently Taking on additional responsibilities as skills and experience grow Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience strongly preferred Strong, stable work history demonstrating solid job tenure Proficient with computers; strong Excel skills & QuickBooks experience required Ability to learn new software and processes quickly Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional, personable, and customer-service oriented Self-motivated, responsible, and dependable Team-oriented with a servant mindset and willingness to assist others Eager to learn, take on new tasks, and grow within the organization Desire for long-term employment and career development with the company Benefits Stable, professional work environment Variety of responsibilities and opportunity to learn Long-term growth potential within the firm Supportive team culture focused on collaboration and service #J-18808-Ljbffr
