Cardiovascular Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech position in Lawrenceville, GA. This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 and runs for 16 weeks. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,110-$2,217 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: 2x3 days Start date: 09/14/2026 Setting: travel assignment in a cath lab Holiday expectations: Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve) Responsibilities Perform and assist with invasive interventional procedures in the cath lab, including left heart cath, right heart cath, high-risk PCI, pacemaker/ICD lead placements, peripheral procedures, and structural heart cases Operate and troubleshoot interventional equipment; monitor hemodynamics and assist with devices such as EMCO and EKOS as applicable Prepare the cath lab for procedures, maintain sterile technique, manage patient positioning and documentation, and support post-procedure recovery care Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to ensure safe, efficient case flow and accurate procedural reporting Maintain equipment readiness, participate in quality improvement activities, and respond to urgent and emergent cases as part of a high-acuity team Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; assist with patient education and discharge instructions as appropriate Requirements Education: Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited technology program (CVT or Radiology) Experience: Minimum 2 years of interventional/diagnostic cath lab experience Certifications: Current BLS; AART or RCIS certification Licensure: Licensure requirements per state/regulatory bodies; verify at time of application Specialization: Cath lab experience with left and right heart procedures; familiarity with cardiovascular support devices and structural heart workflows is expected Availability: Willingness to commit to a 16-week travel assignment; no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered Environment: Ability to work in a cath lab with exposure to high-acuity patient care and complex procedures Benefits and Support Dedicated assignment support from a travel recruiter and Healthforce Healthcare LLC 36 guaranteed hours per week during the contract Travel-friendly onboarding and credentialing support Ongoing access to support throughout the assignment and at transition pointsTravel-friendly schedule with a clearly defined start and end date About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
