Role Overview The F‑35 Mission Data organization is seeking a Mission Systems Engineer with an understanding of EW and RF principles to help deploy the Common Reprogramming Tool (CRT) to our customers. The engineer will design capabilities to be integrated into the CRT, work closely with Software Engineers to ensure implementation meets predefined acceptance criteria, manage the verification approach via lab and integration testing, and ensure all risks or issues are well understood across the team. The engineer will also be responsible for exporting design documentation related to the CRT and its exportability. Key Responsibilities MBSE Design & Implementation Cross‑Functional Leadership Integration & Test Export Control Software Development Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript). Basic understanding of engineering processes. Familiarity with databases. Desired Skills Basic knowledge of advanced programming languages such as Ruby, Swift, or Kotlin. Basic knowledge of development frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Spring. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes. Basic understanding of version control concepts, including branching, merging, and pull requests using Git. Clearance & Eligibility Must be a U.S. citizen. Candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance and process a company‑sponsored interim secret clearance prior to start. Clearance Level: Secret.
