Compensation Manager

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Be a key member of Irvine Company’s Compensation team! Responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies, procedures, and programs. Research relevant labor markets/sectors to ensure market competitiveness and help manage the annual merit review and bonus process. Lead the design, analysis, administration, and compliance of management, sales, and other company incentive plans. Build relationships with third-party consulting firms and participate in their compensation benchmarking surveys. Administer compensation standards, practices, procedures and policies while making recommendations for improved efficiencies. Provide support for company budgeting / forecasting process. Conduct job analysis and evaluations to determine appropriate market pricing, job family classification, bonus plan and FLSA status of positions companywide. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the company – especially with the HR business partners, talent acquisitionand managers/supervisors. Partner with HR business partners and the HRIS team to create, modify and manage job codes, position codes, job families and job descriptions. Participate in all aspects of the development and administration of annual merit increase and bonus process. Manage and administer the third party market pricing tool: data uploads, audits, data aging, survey management, and participate in system enhancement webinars. Also responsible for a broad array of ad hoc companywide projects such as communicating pay and reward programs, workers’ compensation and 401K auditing, design and administration of Compensation 101 training, maintaining the voluntary deferral database, conducting telephone surveys and market research/analysis for the businesses and other projects as the business may require. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations: Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years experience in designing, implementing and managing a full range of compensation plans. A strategic planner with sound business skills, analytical ability, good judgment and an operational focus. Strong project management skills, ability to multi-task and proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels. Strong problem solving, decision making, organizational and analytical skills. Very strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required; proficiency in MS Access, MS Word, and Google G Suite desired. Experience with HRIS reporting; SAP/Success Factors specific experience desired. Experience using MarketPay or other market pricing tool desired.
